Published since 1964 by the ANU Faculty of Law; the Federal Law Review is recognised as one of Australia’s leading academic law journals. Subscribers to the Review include individuals and institutions in Australia and the Pacific, North America, Europe and Asia.

The Review specialises in matters of federal law. Specific areas of interest include:

  • Commonwealth constitutional and administrative law;
  • Matters within Commonwealth legislative competence;
  • Decisions of courts exercising federal jurisdiction;
  • International law in so far as it affects the Commonwealth of Australia;
  • Matters of law which have given rise, or might give rise, to national or uniform legislation.
